Well there are stores like Walgreens and CVS that carry Wet n Wild and Jane cosmetics. And I believe that some of the other discount stores like Walmart and Target carry some of these as well. There much less expensive than Maybelline or Loreal products. There is also a website called E.L.F which stands for Eyes, Lips and Face which has items as low as $1.00 each.
CVS, Walbuams, pretty much any store like that. You could also try Ulta %26amp; sephora but they're not as cheap

How to get eye shadow to stay on?

everyday i out concealer on my eye lids and then eye shadow but half way through the day its faded and when i get home from school is almost completely gone. how can i get it to last all day?How to get eye shadow to stay on?
Simple. Primer.

I use Urban Decay Primer Potion.

It's GREAT.

You will see the difference. How to get eye shadow to stay on?
Many women don鈥檛 even bother putting on eye shadow in the morning because they know that in just a few short hours their shadow, time and effort will all be bunched in the middle of the eyelid. This is not a good look for anyone! I can鈥檛 tell you how many women I know apply their eye shadow straight to a bare eyelid or me on top of a sheer coat of foundation. This is crazy to me, why even bother!

Think of your eyelid as a bare canvas that needs to be prepared with gesso before you begin your masterpiece with paint, or in your case鈥?.eye shadow! So, what is a girl to do? I really do have the oiliest eyelids in town and have to work to keep my shadow on, so I have used many many products out there so you don鈥檛 have to!

Here are some steps on how to prepare for eye shadow:

1. Don鈥檛 use a heavy eye cream! Use a light-weight silicone based eye cream during the day to absorb excess oil on the eyelid.

2. Don鈥檛 put foundation or concealer on your eye lid so you can really get the full effect out of your eye shadow base.

3. Do use an eye shadow base, such as Urban Decay Primer Potion (normal to oily skin), MAC Paints (normal to oily skin) or Laura Mercier Eye Basics (normal to dry skin).

4. Do apply your eye shadow base using a brush if you have a really have a hard time keeping your eye shadow on so the oils in your finger tips do not ';breakdown'; your eye shadow base. A synthetic fiber brush flat brush will work the best!

5. Do use your fingers to apply your eye shadow base if your eyelids are not excessively oily.

6. Do warm up the eye shadow base on the back of your hand or on a spatula to warm the product so it moves better on the skin.

7. Do apply a thin layer of any eye shadow base.

8. Do know that your eye shadow is only as good as your eye shadow base! Blend that base and blend it some more! If your base is clumpy then your shadow will be too.

9. Do not use a sponge tip applicator to apply your eye shadow, use natural hair brushes when using a powder eye shadow. This will apply less pressure and blend the eye shadow with more precision and in return will look much better!

These are a couple of tips tht really do help your eye shadow to stay in place for the day! Enjoy your crease-less eye shadow!
i would suggest you change eye shadow brands because i use Maybelle and it stays on all day as long as i don't rub my eyes although i do use black and it is harder to get black off so that might be another thing but if its coming off try another company i suggest maybelle or even clinique which is what my mom uses and it doesn't come off during the day either hope i Helped.
Well, I use concealer and it works well, but if it doesn't work for you, you'll probably have to go with an eyeshadow primer.

I've heard that Urban Decay Primer Potion and Two Faced Shadow Insurance are the best, but they're probably expensive.

Hope that helps! Sorry I can't be of more help.
Try using Urban Decay Primier Potion. I use it before I go out to clubs and it stays on all nite. Even through the sweat! Sometimes I'm so tired I just go to sleep with my eyeshadow on my eyes and where it to work the next morning? Also try the MAC paints. I use that as well.

[Thomas Paine, writing to Andrew Dean August 15, 1806]
Good question!

Best way to keep it on is after you put on foundation and powder over your eye lids, apply a cream eyeshadow, then apply your powdered eyeshadow over the cream! works like a charm!
Try dabbing the brush in water first and then mix it with the eye shadow. This will seal the make-up and make it last much longer.
eye shadow primer hun. :)

id recommend

URBAN DECAY's Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

its theee BEST .!

but TOO FACED's Eyeshadow Insurance is good too. ^^

If you want eyeshadow to stay on you need to use a primer on your eyelids, such as Urban Decay Primer Potion. It helps your e/s stay put.

:)
you're probably using cheap eyeshadow. Either you can purchase better stuff or maybe try a makeup sealer.
Prime your eyelids before you put your eyeshadow on.

i am wearing a black and gold dress (mainly black) and i would like some advice on what kind of eye makeup i should do.

i think you should wear a gold tone eyeshadow to play up the gold in your dress:)I need some help on eye shadow makeup for the fomal?
Lightly brush gold under the eyebrow and in the corner of the eye near the nose. Then have it darken to a golden brown at the outer corner of the top lid. It may not show as much as you like, but it will look stunning if you do it right.

After applying the shadow, put a thin black line with liquid eyeliner on the inner lash lin, then make the line ever so slightly thicker as you get to the outer lash. Smudge a black eye pencil on the bottom lid lightly then add mascara.

    Like that.

I think it would look STUNNING with your dress.
go for silver eyelids. they'll make you look gorgeous. =)
your lid should fade from light to dark brown with black shadow on the indent of your eye. put some sparkley gold shadow on the inner part of the eyes and gold shimmery eye liner on the bottom. fake lashes are a must obviously... and be sure to wear liquid liner.

You should use slightly shimmery and pastel eye shadows. Colors like peach and lilac will work well for your eyes. For lip gloss, use only muted shades such as peach, light pink, or beige.Best colour eye shadow and lip gloss for my skin plz help?
Blues for the eyes, and light pinks for the lips. You want to go lighter with the lips because, will, your skin is really light. I'm assuming that since your asian, you have dark eyes, and that will really be brought out by dar blues, greys, and blacks. Hope I helpd!!
Blue eyeshadow, but not crazy blue, maybe light blue and peach colored lipgloss.
there is eye shadow put together for eye colors, lip a light tint gloss of pink or light peach.

I know this is going to sound weird, but paint brushes are just about the same thing as the MAC ones, except they are way cheaper. Watch this video. Its explains everything.Where Can I get Great Eye Shadow Brushes without Spending alot???
in my town revlon makeup brushes are on clearance at the local longs drugs, you may be able to find them on clearance at a store near you.
Sonia at Target. They really are worth the few dollars they cost.
    wal-mart

    target...
Yes, Sonia Kashuk for Target DEFINITELY. I bought an eyeshadow brush by her a few years back, and it still is soft and has all its bristles and works just like the day I got it.
Sonia Kashuk makes very good makeup brushes at great prices. They are available at Target!
i just buy mine with the eye shadow theyre cheaper that way and theyre just as good as the ones you buy seperately
Try your local Longs. The Longs here has great makeup brush sets, near the actual makeup selection. My sister and mom use them and wont use anything else! They are only like $10 or so for the whole set.. which is actually a really good deal for 5 brushes :D
Sally's Beauty Supply has a nice variety and you can buy only the ones that you want instead of a set that may not be used entirely.

Don't be like me, I paid $22 for one eye shadow brush at Mac.... it is awesome, but I bought some at Sally's for $3 a piece and they were great!! Hope that helps!
    Target have decent ones.

How do you get perfect eye Shadow on the top of your eye lid and under your eyes?

how do you get perfect eye Shadow on the top of your eye lid and under your eyesHow do you get perfect eye Shadow on the top of your eye lid and under your eyes?
I use a skinny angled brush it works great. How do you get perfect eye Shadow on the top of your eye lid and under your eyes?
First, always use a eyeshadow base such as Urban Decay primer potion, or for drug store brands, L'oreal Decrease. This makes a smoothe even surface for the shadows. Then, use a wide flat eyeshadow brush to pat on the shadow, and a fluffy brush to blend it in. For the bottom, use a small angled brush to get a straight even line underneath. If you would like to see pictures of brushes go to maccosmetics.com they have photos and descriptions of each brush.
Its best to use an eyeshadow brush instead of the spongey applicators that come with your shadows. The brush gives you more control and the finished results look much better. I suggest that you go to a make-up counter like MAC and have them demonstrate the look that you're wanting. Good Luck!
the trick is to dap it on were u want it and then smudge dont put toooooooooo much on or ull just lk funny

I have blue eyes, brown hair and fair skin...what color eye shadow would suit me best?

I have tried light purple and it looks ok but i want something to make my eyes popI have blue eyes, brown hair and fair skin...what color eye shadow would suit me best?
go with out the make up I bet you look stunningI have blue eyes, brown hair and fair skin...what color eye shadow would suit me best?
A really deep charcoal or stone gray.
try 3 shads of blue eye shadow. apply the lightst colour all over the lid then apply the medium colour to the crease of your eye lid and blend well then apply the darkst colour to the lash line. try almay for blue eyes it really makes your eyes pop
    blue are black
I have blue eyes, brown hair, and fair skin as well. I have found that browns and greys look the best on me.
you should use brown. the colors will contrast against your eyes and it will match youur hair. you should put dark brown low near your eyelashes and make it lihter as you go to the eyebrow bone
you sound just like me, except for my eyes are more green. I would try a silvery color (that's a cool color for light skin tones) and maybe for a more dramatic look, add a darker color to the crease of your eye! Whatever you do, stay away from anything ';orangey'; or ';rust'; colored because those are for warm complected people with olive like skin and it will totally wash out your complexion!
The best color eyeshadow to use on blue eyes is actually plum colors, purple shades usually bring out blue eyes. light blue eyeshadows and brown shadows are very good choices for blue eyes also.
    taupe, light gray, pink.

for something more ';dramatic'; try a lilac

P.S. to make blue eyes pop use a brown eyeliner instead of black
smoky colors like dark grey %26amp;%26amp; brown.
try dark blue with silver shimmer and very dark blue eyeliner and mascara. i bet u will look gorgeous
I have navy blue eyes, light brown hair and fair skin as well.

I use a dark blue pencil to line the upper lid of my eyes only. Then I fill in the lid with a smoky gray shadow, a dark blue shadow on the crease, and a pale blue shadow above the crease. Blend thoroughly. Apply one coat of black mascara to top lashes only.

That seems to work well for me.
Try something not to dark but not to light. Try sky blue or pink.
I would say anything in silver/grey/blue hues. If you want a dramatic night look use silver on the top and a dark navy on the bottom to blend.

You may want to buy on Eyes Lips Face website. Items are only $1 each and you can try out different colors - since it is cheap you can try a few. I use the products and you don't feel guilty if it is a color you don't like. They sell in some Target stores but not all.
I have blue eyes and dark hair as well but olive skin. Try using browns and for colours use blues, because of your eyes they will make them appear big beautiful and bright, it will look stunning, liquid eyeliner does a good job as a bit of mascara does a good help to it opens your eyes up and gives you the long eyelash look.
you should use light colors like light brown light blue and so on you can also use white! good luck !
Maybe you could go for white,or silver eye shadow. You could also try a light blue. But I have brown eyes and I wear white eye shadow.

    Best I could do!

go for a gold with a little bit of sparkle. it realy brightens up the eyes.

  • What color eye shadow/eyeliner should i use...........?

I have hazel green eyes and brown hair

What eye shadow and eyeliner combos. would make my eyes come out the most? What color eye shadow/eyeliner should i use...........?
I have your exact description; brown hair and hazel eyes. What makes my eyes come out the most is a dark brown, sort of like a dusky black.

I use black eyeliner, and I look very nice in it.

Good luck! What color eye shadow/eyeliner should i use...........?
Plums and greens can really make hazel green eyes pop. For everyday looks, roses and lighter purples also work great. Eyeliner should compliment those colors, so the best colors of eyeliner would be plum/dark purple or dark brown. Many cosmetic companies also make color mascara, and it's really simple to add that as well as the eyeliner to really define your eyes.

I've found that the combinations Almay cosmetics makes work exceptionally well, and they take the guess work out of it entirely. You can always check out their display at your local drugstore or Walmart to see what colors they suggest and buy your favorite brand if you don't want to use Almay makeup.

    Have fun experimenting!

EDIT: the eye shadow you choose doesn't have to match your clothes as long as it goes with your eyes. It's like artwork: you don't frame a picture in mats that go with your room's decor; you choose the mats based on what colors are in the picture itself.

I highly recommend skipping black eye liner. It's too dark for most women. You can use dark brown (which is practically black) and it will go with the brown eye shadow well. If it were me, I'd skip the brown eye shadow, since it's not the best color for hazel green eyes. Brown really is best with dark hazel and brown eyes.
I would use a plum liner and smudge it (blend it) and then black mascara. The plum will make your eyes look greener and the black will make them look lighter.

I wish I could see the end result! It would be so pretty!
here are some make up tips that might help:

How do you disinfect eye shadow?!?

I have conjunctivitis, and I've had to go through the whole process of throwing out my contact lenses, mascara, etc. But I really want to avoid having to throw out my MAC eye shadows. Does anyone know how I can disinfect them? I've see make-up artists spray something on the eye shadow pots in the store, but I'm not sure what it is... would alcohol ruin them? How do you disinfect eye shadow?!?
Alcohol would ruin your eyeshadow. Do not use that. You need to throw away the eyeshadow and purchase some more. I don't know what the make-up artists do, but I do know there is nothing that will sterilize your eye-shadow. You just got over a serious virus and you need to be safe...not sorry. Good luck and GOD bless. How do you disinfect eye shadow?!?
    Sorry, no way.
There really isn't a way to disinfect eye shadows. The sales associates and ';makeup artists'; who work in stores and spray something on the makeup are doing that to make customers feel more at ease. It doesn't work. Unfortunately, you're going to have to throw out your shadows to keep your eyes healthy.
Don't take a chance. Throw it away. You can't disinfect it.
Can't be done. Toss the eyeshadow and be safe.

PS - a good make-up artist (like in the stores) will *never, ever* put something that has been on your skin back into a container. They will always grab a fresh swab (Q-Tip) to put make-up on someone.
my ol' man works in the optical industry, he said you have to chuck them. sorry :(
the only solution is to throw it out and buy a new one... you can't disinfect something like eye shadow...
alcohol will probably ruin them.....umm i don't you have any other choice but to throw them out..srry...hope u find a solution..

What eye shadow would suit me?

i dont have a photo which sucks. but i have red hair with natural streaks of blonde and brown. i have green eyes and freckals. i was thinking purple but im not to sure if you have any ideas or hints they would help. Thanks. What eye shadow would suit me?
As far as eye shadow is concerned, it is true that the complexion of a redhead lends itself well to neutral tones, such as taupe. However, neutral need not be boring. Try chestnut, camel, gold, beige, honey, terra cotta, russet and raisin. Experiment with different shades of browns and peaches, blending and combining shades for a smoky or defined eye look.

Remember, every redhead is unique. Red hair comes in a wide range of shades, from strawberry blonde to deep auburn. So, I encourage you not to listen to the “experts” who say redheads cannot wear color. Experiment with color and step outside the ordinary. Opt for something dramatic but different, such as plums or emeralds. Use a lighter color on the brow bone to open up the eyes. In general, stay away from blues and pinks. What eye shadow would suit me?
Purple would be gorgeous! Rusty colors or anything that has some red in it would also set off your eyes, and tie in with your hair color. Some pinks, and light greens would also look good.
Purple will set off the green in your eyes, and your red hair. Just remember moderation!

What eye shadow would I use?

I have brown hair, green eyes, light skin but I dont know what color eye shadow would work for me.

I usually like my make up natural looking.

But I want to try something new. I like to have it match what i'm wearing but I dont know what colors would really go with me.

Help please. What eye shadow would I use?
It really depends on your complexion. is your skin tone warm or cold (yellow or red)? i think purples and certain blues set green eyes on fire, but it really depends on your skin's hue to decide a choice that is best. What eye shadow would I use?
Purples and bronze would go good with your hair and eye color and tone.

I say light to medium browns with medium plum purple on the crease. also i find expensive pink by MAC work on almost anyone!
Purple tones bring out green eyes really well

you should also try some really light pink blush
i have similar coloring as you, and i usually just use a medium brown shade, and sometimes gold in the inner corners.

    i like using purples/violets too.

If there is one near you try a ';Designer Fragrances and Cosmetic Company'; store at an outlet mall. The link below has the locations.

What colour of eye shadow would be best for me to use?

My natural hair colour is brown but i have blonde highlights through it. i have blue eyes and fair skin. thanksWhat colour of eye shadow would be best for me to use?
A soft smoky brown would really show your eyes off. Dont use blue; if you use shadow the same colour as your eyes, it makes your eyes '; disappear';. Good quality shadows like Clarins and Max Factor have better and more subtle shades than the cheapo ones. Use a dark brown mascara, not black. What colour of eye shadow would be best for me to use?
Go to your local department store. The makeup consultants will be glad to try different shades for you. You don't have to make a purchase. Go on a day that is not so busy. They are marketing top sales on the weekend. During the week they need something to do with their time.
It depends what tone of skin you have. On any tone dont use brown or dark colors in the summer, those are for fall. I'll tell you all the shades for different tones of skin.

    Dark(black)- soft blues or pinks

    Tan- any bright color

    In between- soft colors

    Pale- soft pink
Brown or light brown is good for blue eyes, they make them stick our more.
My advice is to use a shimmering medium brown on your lower lids and a light brown to beige on your upper lids with a blue contour line in between the two brown colors this will inhence your blue eyes yet not dull down your complextion with the little bit of shimmer brightening your eyes
    go natural.
YOU are beutiful you do not need eyeshadow to hide your face
it depend on your skin color and what you are waring
Greeny Blue makes your eyes pop out!
I agree with the ones that aswered light brown or mauve. These colors will really make the blue in your eyes pop out.
Dude it depends on your outfit!!!!!!!!!

    Only thing that matter
brown y naturals~ der's a gr8 book caled Hair%26amp;Make up dat includes everythin bout it
id wear either mauve or light brown. will make the blue of ur eyes really stand out
Taupe or cocoa brown is best with blue eyes. Also, navy liner or charcoal is good, too.
I think you can use light brown
Hi i suggest to use light colours like a creamy beige, no pink/blue...

Just use light colours that give you a more natural look.
One of the makeup companies, and now I can't remember which one, makes eye shadow strickly based on eye color. I know a couple of ladies from work that use it, and it really makes their eye color pop out. For some reason I'm thinking Loreal, but that may not be it.
it depends on the time of day and where you are going. be more specific if you want a useful answer.
i have the same problem but i normally would use pale pastel colours like bubblegum pink, sky blue, etc but tan colours are also good
    yellow !
for blue eyes, u should should use black eyeliner, make it smokey by blending it in, use a tan/brownish color eyeshadow and black maskara. The dark colors sourrounding the eye make ur blue stand out.....
Match it with your hair (light brown) rather than your eyes, it will highlight your eyes.
If you can get hold of some bronze colour and copper it would look great with the high lights.
BeneFit have a gorgeous brown eyeshadows
    Golds and browns
    depends wat ur wearing dear.
warm colors for pale skin you know the one with pink under tones
    gotta be blue babe!
this season must have colour is believe it or not ''terracotta''

with your hair and if you have a slight tan you could really put it off baby
blues and browns look good with your complection but try using both at the same time
Browns, pinks and peaches would look beautiful on you! You can always go the the cosmetic counter and have a pro show you how to apply them, and what the perfect color would be. Is it possibe to turn eye shadow into mascara?

i have a whole bunch of eyeshadow id ike to be colored mascara anyway i can do thatIs it possibe to turn eye shadow into mascara?
no..but you can buy coloured mascara at a local shoppers drug martIs it possibe to turn eye shadow into mascara?
Not really. The two products are just designed to work very differently. Even if you somehow worked the eyeshadow into a paste, it likely wouldn't stick to your lashes properly.

That having been said, you could try the following, if you still want colorful lashes:

    1. Buy colored mascara. Max Factor Vivid Impact Highlighting Mascara has some vibrant options, and you get two colors in each set.

    2. Very carefully apply ome eyeshadow to your lashes over a regular mascara before the mascara dries. This MIGHT work, but you're also very likely to get eyeshadow in your eye. that'll make them bloodshot, which will you look bad no matter what makeup you have on.

    3. Use colored ';hair mascara'; on your eyelashes. The product will say that you're not supposed to do this (which is fine, they need to protect themselves, and this way they can't be liable if you use it this way), but I've done it before with no ill effect. You can get some really crazy colors this way, too. Shimmer colors are fine, just stay away from glitter, which is really a hazard.
um,i've heard of using eyeshadow as eyeliner of sorts by mixing it with water then using an eyeliner brush to apply it. i guess you could try taking a brush from an old mascara and like rolling it in the eyeshadow/water mix... or you could take and old empty mascara rinse it out and then put the eyeshadow/water mix in it, and try using it like you would use regular mascara, no promises that it will work though.
I'm not sure. i doubt it though. Search it on youtube. You know they sell colored mascara, right? But, you can turn eyeshadow into lipstick and eyeliner. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gV68na9B鈥?/a>
    ABSOLUTELY YES!

omg don't listen to them. Mac Pro has a mixing medium line and its made for turning pigments and shadows into lip gloss, eyeliner, and mascara. you just squeeze a little of the ';mixing medium-lash'; and add your favorite eyeshadows then mix. then you roll a clean mascara brush in it and apply, and it has the same consistency of mascara.

its mac PRO so you cant find it at just nay mac counter. go to macpro.com and see which store in your area has PRO product, or you can just call and order one over the phone. or try ebay. but im 1000% positive you can do it.

Does any one know any good eye-shadow colors?

Like do you know how people put 2 eye shadows on and they look really good together? Well how do you do that and what are some good colors to use? If you can help I would apreciatie it a lot! Thanks!Does any one know any good eye-shadow colors?
    I HAVE SOME FABULOUS ADVICE!

Using more than one color is a great way to get a really neat effect with your eyeshadow. Here are some tips:

    1. An easy and no-brainer way to do this is to buy an eyeshadow compact that has several colors together (usually between two and four colors). The company groups these together because they are complimentary.

(WHEN YOU DO ANY OF THIS, MAKE SURE YOU USE A GOOD BRUSH)

-Use the lightest shade in the palatte to sweep shadow lightly across your entire eye area--from the lash line to the brow bone. This acts as a highlighter.

-Use the next lightest color to fill in around the crease of your eyelid.

_Use the darkest from your lash line to the crease.

    2. If you don't want to buy a whole palatte and wish to use colors you already have, try the following combinations:

-A light/sparkly cream or white on the brow bone.

-A shimmery copper or creamy color for the middle.

-A brown, dark grey, black color for the darkest part.

Truly, good brushes do SO MUCH for your eyeshadow. You can have the best shadow, but if you're using one of those little foam brushes, it will look cheap.

Try the following links for inspiration for your colors:

    http://www.eyeslipsface.com/elfshop/look鈥?/a>

When you visit, click through the different looks to the right of your screen. There are step-by-step instructions.

HAVE FUN!Does any one know any good eye-shadow colors?
I like the smoky eye look. You need a charcoal and an ice white shadow colors. Use the charcoal color up to the crease of your eye. Use the white to your brow. This looks so sexy. Line the top of your eye and underneath your lashes with black eyeliner. Curl your lashes and use a black mascara. Oh, and to really make your eyes pop dab the ice shadow in the inner corner of your eyes. If you want to make sure your shadow does not come off, wet the applicator with some water too. Good luck! This also looks good with any eye color.
brown, beigh, silver, peach, black r good ones

to put 2 eyeshadows at the same time u gotta blend one eyeshadow color on ur eyelids and the other under ur eyebrows
yes purple and yellow, green and yellow ,pink and purple , gold with light yelloweach one of them hasdifferent like each one has a specific brush like outer must be very thin and inner must be thick to spread more.and ou can use different stages of any colour like dark silver and grey.
well it depends on ur eye shape, second, the way to match any 2 colors, is to always put white as ur base all over the eye, then use the lightest as the color for the whole eye, then take the darker and trase the crease in ur eye and slowly go outward and shape the edge of ur eye, my fav colors are all smoky and beige, and light pinks with baby blues
Go to any makeup counter and they tell you which colors together or single will great on you. My favorite counter? MAC b/c they have so many colors and everyone is so nice and helpful. You will find the there. Good Luck!
I like natural colors: browns, gold and beiges
you can buy duel eyeshadow colours in the same compact or even 3 or 4 differnt colours. These are made so that they do match. Best thing to do it check out some photos of models. As for best colours - that all depends on your skin tone and if you are looking for daytime wear, evening wear, etc.
I personally love eyeshadow-and the key to great eyeshadow is to pick colors that complement (ex: don't use a blue and then a brown-yuck!) I would recommend anyone to put a darker shade on the bottom of the eye lid and then gradually use a lighter shade on the brow bone and outter eye. (a darker brown with a lighter brown on top looks so beautiful! Whatever color you use, just use colors that are in the same color range) Also, depending on your skin tone (warm, cool, etc), some colors will look better than others. Because I am cool toned I use lots of blues, greens, browns, etc) A good place to go to is Covergirl.com and there you could get makeup tips, and find out what your color range would be to make the makeup choices easier. (Covergirl was really helpful for me!) Good Luck!!
it's according to your eye color i have blue eyes so i wear gray quads some days then i wear brown quads some days.
usually eye shadows come in sets of 2 and 3. natural earth tones are really good on most people. blue is bad. green shades work well for some. for a day look use the dark color on the bottem and the light color on top. for a night look reverse it. check it out and you'll see . but never use the lightest color on the bottom. the deeper the color the more deep set it helps your eye appear. go darker at the top outer edge with a gradual blending. always use very bright light to apply make up so you know your not using too much. less is more!
stick with natural colors, they blend much better
Go to the MAC counter at a Macy's and they have a trillion colors. Ask them for a few combos. They are very helpful

if your eyes r green get a lil soft pink that will bring out your eyes or a lil brown brings out your eyes too and both of them r classy and nice 4 a date!
nooooo not blue so fake looking try using a white eyeshodow with a little glitter in it ...in the middle of your eyes use a brown eye shodow.... try using black mascara you will be amazed at how well those colors will bring out your eyes and still look natural oh take the white and make a thin line under the eye for a more attention getter look try a black eye liner to it really brings out the color of your eyes.....
    opposites attract

if your eyes are green, purple shadow makes them pop.

    it's really pretty

and instead of black mascara, petroleum jelly is great to show off your lashes, cheekbones, and right under your brow arch.
Light brown. It brings out green and blue eyes. You could goto your local Merle Normans. They do a free makeup consultation, and you usually get a free gift of the hottest new colors if you spend more than $25 in product.
You should try Almay Intense I-Color for green eyes. It is really pretty and you can chose to wear different shades and eyeliner (stick or liquid) and you can still use clear mascara.
ive seen that purple eyeshadow looks pretty with green eyes
Wat about a nice shade of brown or sumthing natural looking.

But you can experiment with all different eye shadows if u dont have them go to boots or a make-up store and try on all the testers and see which colour suits you best. You could even just wear a colour that ure wearing. I hope I helped u out ! x
    Blue
a really good color fro green eyes is a soft green or turquoise shadow applied to the outer edges of the upper lid, it makes your eyes look bigger and brighter
i have green-ish eyes too ..purple looks lovely..any colour with red in it will make your eyes pop. umm just black and white look nice too if you line the eye with black and put some white shadow to higlight areas like the corner of your eyes to open them up

    yeah hope that helps :)
Depends on your eye color which you forgot to mention... I see you added this now...

Anyhow, the suggestion is to match your skin tone and go opposite your eye color. Blue or green eyes wear browns, grays and muted colors and brown eyes wear blues, pinks and greens usually.

Go to a local department store and get a makeover!
i suggest playing them up with other earth tones i suggest a glittery bronze or deep green but i always make sure it matches my outfits
I also have green eyes! If you want to make the green in them pop out use purple, a nice lavender. It really does work. Also natral looks great on everybody, earth tones.
    Brown
    try blue
Well whats in style now and should be until spring are browns, blacks, navy, and grey. Smoky, mysterious, sexy colors. These colors deepen your eyes and give a older more distinctive look. And you should definatley wear black and brown mascara. Dont ever where blue, purple, or sparkley mascara cuz its cheap and childish.

What is the best eye shadow color for blonde hair and green eyes?

my hair is blondish brownWhat is the best eye shadow color for blonde hair and green eyes?
Okay so unlike what people said DO NOT go with the color of shirt yuo are wearing or something that matches your clothes!!!

Wear makeup that matches your personality. And your eyes.

If you wear eyeliner put some green eyeliner on the bottom lid. It will really make the color of your eyes pop. This also shows a very upbeat personality. If you really like playing with color try a dark blue eyeliner. Or a bit of blue eyeshadow with a shimmer rubbed into the outside corner of each eye. just not too dark!!

Color wise its a rule that grren eyes go well with green, blue and any other really opposite color. Brown also goes well with almost every eye color. Since your hair is blonde I will assume you have somewhat fair skin. so I would stay away from pinks and purples. a nice gold can really pull out any hazel in your eyes and make your eyes look multi-toned... its a really nice effect.

if you dont really like to play with color I would suggest using a bronzie or golden brown and sweep it over the lid. make sure its a bit irridescent or translscent just something fro a shimmer . and then a darker brown in the crease.... make sure you blend it in really well. if your feeling creative this is when you would eith put on a colorful eyeliner or a bit of an accent color on your crease ( remember a green or a blue...... pink and purples will not be too apealing). Oh and colored mascara is fun to play with too. Maybe a bit of dark green just on the lashes closest to the outside of your eye.....

I know I gave more info then you asked for but I hope I helped! What is the best eye shadow color for blonde hair and green eyes?
Maybe a red based brown color. Good luck!
try to match it with whatever color shirt you are wearing. and don't put it too heavy. dark eye shawdow looks cheap and gaudy.

if you don't have a big selection, use like a tan color or even just use a little black eyeliner.
ok first. no matter wut anyone says. never EVER choose eye shadow colors according to wut you're wearing. eyeshadow colors should always be choosen to compliment your eyes NOT match shirts or wutever. second. green eyes are soo pretty. you should put on colors that are earthy. green and shades of brown look really good with green eyes and definitely bring them out. also purple like plum, lavender etc. good luck! hoped it helped.
    I have green eyes.

When I had a professional help me with my makeup, she told me that because my eyes were green, i was to wear either brown or purple shadows to make them stand out more.
Brown, and different ranges of purple...plum, violet, lavender, and eggplant in the berry family
Purple! And definitely don't match the color to your outfit- makeup should always compliment your face, skin, eyes, etc and not match your clothes. But go with different shades of purple

What color eye shadow best fit me?

for asians, i think that colors that pop such as green or blue make them look kinda whorey unless they use a very small amount of it

    green or pink (vibrant colors)

but not alot, maybe a line because no offence asians dont look that good with a lot of eyeshadow
Absolutely pink or purple. Pink will bring out any lighter flex of golf, and purple will warm up the brown.
deep green with chocolate brown liner
maybe like a deeper shade of green

  • What colour eye shadow matches red lipstick?

for saturday night to go out for a drink...burgundy red lipstick but i don't know what colour eye shadow would look bestWhat colour eye shadow matches red lipstick?
If you have red lips, you should go a bit less glam on the eyes, so that you don't look overdone.

Try a bronze or brown, or just layer on the mascara and skip the eyeshadow, because it will make your lips stand out and look great! What colour eye shadow matches red lipstick?
A nice eye look to complement your burgandy red lipstick would be a tanned pink or nude pink shadow all over the eye. Even a shimmer gold eye shadow all over the eye. Then in the middle eye crease a touch of brown or blue or even violet. Blend well to somewhat mute the color so that it isn't overpowering.
I would go for a light eyeshadow. Something pretty natural. Avon has a few that I could recommend, but I don't want to advertise here, so if you're interested send me a message. I wouldn't wear anything very heavy or dark on your lids because then it will be competing with your lips. Play one up while playing the other down. That's generally a good rule. Oh, and if you are interesting in looking at those Avon shadows, but don't want to order from Avon, you could just look at the colors to get an idea of what I'm talking about then find one of your own or buy a similar shade.
Natural tones such as beiges, browns, bronzes and creams.

This is a good example of natural eyes and red lips: http://media.sacbee.com/smedia/2007/11/2鈥?/a>
Less is more when it comes to red lipstick. I would put a light shimmer on the eyelids and that's all.

i use a covergirl eyeshadow and a maybelline thick eye pencil. make sure you get corresponding colors though. to start, you want to make a thick line above the lashes and smear it with a q-tip or something like that. then with the shadow, take small brush and make long strokes going towards the outer corner of your eye at a 45 degree angle. you then would want to take a new q-tip and give it a smudged look so it doesnt look so linear?

well thts how i get my smokey eyes.. have funHow do you do a smokey eye?I've been wanting to learn. And what brushes to i use and brand of eye shadow?
here is my smokey eye...step by step and simple as can be... (feel free to substitute lighter shades for the ones i mention)

start with a clean canvas...concealer, foundation, and/or powder in place. apply a thin layer of shadow base or eye primer to the entire lid (urban decay primer potion, mary kay eye primer, merle norman automatic shadow base, or mac eye primer)

black or dark grey shadow in the shape of a sideways V on the corner of the eye, working into the crease (i use merle norman shadow in ebony and a palladio flat shadow brush)

lighter grey shimmer shadow over the lid, blending into the first darker shade (i use mac shadow in idol eyes and a mark contour brush)

silvery/champagne shimmer shadow under the brow bone and dotted on inner corners of eyes with full shadow brush (i use merle norman luminous shadow in sun beam and an essence of beauty shader brush)

black liner all the way across top lid, slightly thicker on outer edges, and 3/4 way across bottom (avon glimmersticks liner in blackest black)

sweep thin line of medium shimmer grey under lower lash line, below and slightly over black liner

curl lashes and add 2 coats of volumizing black mascara (maybelline volum' express turbo boost 7Xs mascara in black)

-you can also do a smokey eye with shades of brown, purple, green... any color.

here are the shades i recommend from a few different brands for the basic black/grey....

-from mac: black tied, charred OR idol eyes, and shroom

-from lancome: the new black, style section OR volcano, and off the rack

-from merle norman: ebony, zinc OR stay steel, sun beam

-from avon: night sky, steel OR slate, iced silver

stila (at sephora) has a smokey eye kit that has 4 shadows in a palette...push a tiny button and a voice speaks instructions to you. there is also a holographic image of an eye that shows where the different shades go when you turn it. $40

also available at sephora are hard candy and smashbox. hard candy makes a shadow quad called ';techno'; that sells for $28, and smashbox makes a shadow trio called ';twilight'; that sells for $30. both are good for grey smokey eyes.

for drugstore palettes, try revlon, loreal, covergirl and maybelline. i know all of those lines carry them, but not sure of the names.

always keep lips light... glossy nudes are great with sexy smokey eyes.
the best brands for smokey eyes are mac, max factor, and rimmel.

    to get smokey eyes

get black powdered eyeshadow and use a small rounded brush and apply in very heavy coats to your eyes. finish with thick lines of eyeliner in either brown/black or navy. and presto...nice smokey eyes:D
First thing to remember is you don't have to use black! Use this technique with any colours you want.

This is a very basic smokey eye which is really easy to do

Start off with your lightest colour, apply it all over your lid

With the medium shade, blend it into your crease

Using an angled brush, press the darkest colour into your top and bottom lashlines.

With the angled brush again, or with a smudger, pull the dark shade just a bit.

I could send you a better tutorial, with pics if you want
    i use Elizabeth Arden Eyeliner

    -expresso- Smoky eyes

it comes with a little ';smear'; tip so all you have to do is put thick eyeliner on top and bottom..on the top with the sponge smear it a little

    = PERFECT SMOKY EYE

I use urban decays 24/7 eyeliner to make a smokey eye by using a smudge stick thing... then i use different shades of eyeshadow.. make sure you get some urban decay eyeshadow primer potion though so it doesn't crease... i think MAC eyeshadow is the best though =D also you can ask the people working at MAC or sephora if you have one =D
Below a put a link to a vide that will show you how to do it. Yeah. Hope I get #1 =]
what *BLM* is good. but sorry mine is better! lol =P

    smokey eye is a classic.

    1. cover your whole eye in a grey silvery tone.

    2. taking a smaller brush, take a darker colour, preferebly a really really dark purple or black, (purple is great) and press that in your inner corner and your outer corner.

    3. taking a highlight, (a glittery tone, silver or glittery blue would be good) press this LIGHTLY literally in the center of your eye, in betwween the dark colours.

    4. buff it all out, using a brush, rub the higlight into the darker colours.

if you want to go one step further, put on fake eyelashes! the ones with the dimantes!! but always remember to put on mascara with the fake eyelashes, to tab your really lashes in to the false ones.

for your cheeks, go a light bronzer, then a light shimmer dust on top.

go pale lips. or you dont want to overpower the eyes. always only focus on one feature of your face or you'll look OTT.

tell me how it works out!!
Go here. I think you have to have a youtube.com account, but this British chick takes you through all the steps and shes very thorough. Just search for smokey eye.. trust me!

Whats a good cheap eye shadow base? and Can concealer be a base and does it work?

I always sweep translucent power over my eyes and rest of my face to keep eye shadows and stuff in place also the same color eye color in pencil form helps too, I don't recommend concealer to be a baseWhats a good cheap eye shadow base? and Can concealer be a base and does it work?
Concealer works great as a base, it's cheap and it's just as good. Urban Decay makes a really great eyeshadow base, it's amazing.Whats a good cheap eye shadow base? and Can concealer be a base and does it work?
If u want to u may use your concealer lightly for base so that your make up can last a little longer. If u want cheaper prices, try the drug stores or Wal-Mart. They have several different reputable lines that will not break your bank account. Never should u sacrifice your face for just cheap products especially those u may not know of.
Use what use apply to your face, a powder or a foundation. It's all the same and you don't have to waste your money on a product these companies make for more money. Hope I helped!
i always either use concealer or translucent powder as eye shadow base i think it works the best
I recommend a product from Mary Kay called Eye Primer. It keeps eye shadow from smudging and creasing. You only use a small amount on your eyelids and it works all day. Ideally concealer should not be used on your eyelids it is thick and can make your eye color clump into the fine lines in your eyelid. That is not something we want to draw attention to.

go to almay.com, they have a line specificly for each eye color, you can get it at any store.
First of all, it has more to do with what type of skin tone you have; are you a Summer, Fall, Winter or Spring... that's how the colors you can wear are determined.

Go to a reputable cosmetics store and ask to see a knowledgeable consultant.

A knowledgeable consultant will know exactly what you mean, (and need!).
    What ever you like.
It's really according to what shade of Hazel....if it is more of a blue shade then you should go with browns.....or blues.

If it is more of a brown hazel then you should go with browns/purples.

(By purple I don't mean caked on clown looking stuff, I mean shaded)
Hi, I am a makeup artist and I work in television in Los Angeles. Hazel eyes are great cuz you can do many different things with them. I use these 3 the most. Stila is the brand and I use powder as it never runs (in tv that is especially important) the colors are Java (brown is the opposite side of the color spectrum to green and blue so it makes it pop) Storm makes it piercing/natural and cool. Ebony..makes it more evening and dramatic. Good luck.
I have hazel eyes and i wear gold eyeshadow with black eyeliner, sometimes i wear green eyeshadow with green eyeliner if i am wearing a green top, you could use purple eyeshadow too, hope this helps you?
Go with an eyeliner that is brown or a violet-pink color - those will really make your eyes stand out. The same colors apply with eyeshadow - brown, violet-pink or even a green color will look good. As far as mascara (sorry, I know you really didn't ask), brown mascara really makes hazel eyes glow. Ever since I switched from black to brown, I've gotten a lot of compliments about bigger, brigher eyes. Good luck!

Depends what kind of look you are going for. If you want a light, natural looking face, go for liquid or creme shadows. If you want bold, and more out there looks, go for high pigmented shadows. If i have hazel eyes what color eye shadow and eyeliner should i use?

I have a book on what colors to use for the color of eyes you have. For hazel it says to use a medium plum, or a dark green. Or even an expresso brown. Good luck!If i have hazel eyes what color eye shadow and eyeliner should i use?
I can't really tell your skin tone or hair color from your pic. Typically, since Hazel has a mixture of gold/amber, blue, brown, and green, what you wear can bring out any hue that you want to be prominent.

You can use gold with black eyeliner and black mascara, to bring out the gold specks. You can use a light green or emerald to bring out the green. You may want to try a light color on the lid and a lightly darker green in the crease with the black eyeliner and black mascara. To bring out the blue you can also use purples or lavenders as well as some make up is coming out with some pretty blues these days. I've included a cover girl make up advisor link for you. I thought it might help you figure out what colors match your hair and skin tone as well. Good luck!If i have hazel eyes what color eye shadow and eyeliner should i use?

i don't know but green sounds good. Hazel eyes are soooo pretty!!!
I would say a brown eye liner, and a dark green or brown eye shadow, OR i used to work for a makeover studio so line th elower part of your lid in dark colors and make it liter as you go up to your brow, that really defines HAZEL eye color, I have blue eyes. Hope I help!
If your eyes are hazel you can wear any earthtone.....browns, golds, dusty pinks...your best bet if you want a dramatic eye is to use purple and plum.....it will really make the green in your eyes pop.

go to the link below and click on the color of your eyes....for hazel and the experiment with the ';green'; eye color too.

I also have hazel eyes......if I am going out for the evening I will use the purple and green to be have a little more dramatic look.

I don't recommend green eyeliner unless it really matches the color of green in your eyes.
Purple eyeliner, with tan/brown eyeshadow. The earth tones (brown) will compliment the greenish brown in your eyes, and the red in the purple will offset the green because they're color opposites.
    purple... or smokey eyes..., ALMAY
green would look ugly. go for chocolate brown, or black for a nightime look.
    green, black, maby brown
anything neon or bright because hazel eyes are soooooooo boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
since u have a light skin tone u should prolly use a brown/dark brown eyeliner and lighter colors it will bring ur eye color out more
You got the color right, but use it as your shadow, and if you must. i dont agree on a liner, but blue will do.

It is liquid Eye Shadow. It comes like a lip gloss. They last longer than powder eye shadow. Have you ever heard of NAO costmetics? This are great product and have variety of colors. The ';Loose mineral pigment'; is great. You can use it dry or creamy. If you want it creamy, just wet it.
They probably have the really nice brand of cream eyeshadow.

And basically its just called cream eyeshadow. I've tried some cheap brands before, and they get lines in them at the creases. I wouldn't reccomend it, but maybe a more expensive brand, or just a high quality brand would work better.

What is your fave brand of eye shadow?

i need to know because my eyeshadow ismaking me brake out. What is your fave brand of eye shadow?
I have very sensitive skin as well and I've found that MAC products work really well in practically all cases. They have a stellar variety of colors including different textures for their shadows ranging from mattes, shimmers, pigments, etc. They're also really cheap compared to the more ';designer'; makeup brands like Dior and CHANEL. It would also be worth your while to purchase some of their brushes as well and brush cleaner. When we breakout a lot of the time it's due to poor care of the applicators we're using to apply our makeup. Always regularly clean your brushes/sponges to avoid additional bacteria being applied to your skin. I hope that helps! What is your fave brand of eye shadow?

Light brown. What eye shadow colour is perfect for a person with brown eyes and hair?
It depends on what look you are trying to achieve. If you are going for an au naturel look, like for the beach or sports, colors like taupe and tan, or even rust, would do. The intensity would depend on whether your eyes or lighter or darker brown. But this combo would not work if you were heading for the disco or some nightspot.

In areas of subdued lighting, colors like green or blue would enhance the brown in your eyes, and even make them bewitching! (LOL), just remember to add black eyeliner and lashings of black mascara too. Hope this helps

How can I get my eye shadow to show up more?

I have purple, pink, and turquoise colors that I can't use because I can't get them dark enough to show up and look really awesome. Even using more than 2 layers doesn't make the colors look deep enough. Any ideas of how to get the color to show better? How can I get my eye shadow to show up more?
Firstly you can try applying them with a mixing medium or base.Dont want to buy one?Make it yourself..1/4 part glycerin+3/4 parts purified water.

    OR

Apply a base..like Urban Decay Primer Potion or NYX Jumbo eye pencils.

This steps will adds the vibrancy of your eyeshadow and it also helps it adhere better.

Also,I have added a lick for you to see how to make a mixing medium. This is very helpful and is also the cheapest way to solve your problem:)

Good luck!!!How can I get my eye shadow to show up more?
Wet the brush/applicator before applying. Make a paste out of the eyeshadow and water. It will be very, very dark, just like it is in the compact.
Put moisturiser on them before you apply it and also maybe use liquid eyeline for a nice bold effect and use mascara aswell..!
Use an eyeshadow primer such as Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.
put moisturizer on your eye lids then put the eye shadow on.
Put cover up make-up on your eyes first -- gently and lightly.
I would say maybe try finding a different brand because those are not working for you
    change the brand.

I have dark brown eyes, what eye shadow/liner makes brown eyes pop?

I really don't like my eyes...brown is so common and boring...

I want them to look better, so what eye shadow or liner colors look best with brown eyes?I have dark brown eyes, what eye shadow/liner makes brown eyes pop?
Brown Eyes: This basic color is soft and pretty, and is just a pure chocolate color. This is probably the most common color to get for your eyes in genetics. It loves it鈥檚 metallic鈥檚 so try bronzes, pale gold, and slick grey. Also, try out delicious amounts of plum, purple, magenta, lavender, and dark tones of purple.

Try bronze, golds and beautiful metallics as shadows.

    Purples, plums, etc as liner.

Together these two can make a cute look.I have dark brown eyes, what eye shadow/liner makes brown eyes pop?
I also have brown eyes and I know that I like to use reddish browns and plum colors. Also, if you want your eyes to appear bigger, instead of putting black eyeliner on the bottom waterline, put white eyeliner. I know it sounds crazy, but I guarantee, no one will notice the white eyeliner but it will certainly make your eyes appear bigger. Black eyeliner doesn't really make all eyes 'pop', it makes them appear smaller. I would go for plums and reddish browns-- and also white eyeliner!
I love my brown eyes! They may be common, but I think they are so beautiful and exotic looking, not to mention mysterious. ;) Anyway, gold and bronze shadows and liners would look look really good with your eye color. For more information, see the source below. It gives you a lot of information on how to enhance your eye color, with products that have been tested and worked well on brown eyes. Good luck, and appreciate your beautiful eyes!
buy a light green shadow. and just a regular black eyeliner. black makes everything pop and green goes gr8 with brown eyes. ESPETIALY THAT YOU HAVE GREEN IN YOUR EYES TOO.
i think an olive green eye shadow will make your eyes stand out, or maybe a deep purple?x

    can you please answer mine?x

well you have really pretty eye colors so since i know about make up i would say dark green will pop your eyes, soft shiny brown and always line your top lids with liquid liner. it will look sexy and classy
Purple is the OMG color and blue, green and maybe brown.
Browns, golds, maybe a little bit of greens and some deep pink would do you wonders, chica :)
plums and purples will really make your eyes pop.

Keeping glittery eye shadow in place?

So I bought Urban Decays eyeshadow in Midnight Cowboy Rides Again, which is a super glittery version of the original. I put my Primer on (Urban Decay Primer Potion) but within an hour the color remained but the specks were all over my cheeks.

Whats a good way to keep heavy glitter in place? Any special products?

Thanxs.Keeping glittery eye shadow in place?
Well, I actually put on cream shadow after my primer (same one) as none of my shadows, both expensive and cheap, stick onto the lid with only the primer.

I wear some with shimmer and the cream shadow helps the shimmer stay on the lid. You could try that.

Also, make sure you tap off all excess shadow before applying it, as the fallout could be because you have too much on.Keeping glittery eye shadow in place?
You might have too much on the brush. Try tapping off the excess, then apply.

Or try wetting the brush, then apply the eyeshadow like you normally would.

Does wetting eye shadow spoil the product?

Some eye shadow palettes give you the option of using it either dry or wet. In order to use it wet (and get the affect of liquid eye shadows), you'll need to first wet your brush and dip it into the colour. My concern is will this encourage germs to breed on the palette? If you dip your damp brush into the colour, you'll leave the colour palette damp as well and this might spoil the product. If it does, then why is it still a popular technique which some professional make up artist use?Does wetting eye shadow spoil the product?
Water doesn't help breed bacteria. If that was true then all of your creams would breed bacteria like crazy and you'd have to throw them out within days of using them. Powders naturally inhibit bacteria growth. Once the water evaporates it's right back to a powder. Unless you pour water on your palette (not recommended) dipping a damp brush into a powder product only dampens the surface. To remove the caked looking spot from you shadow all you have to do is take some scotch tape and lay it over the water spot once it's dried and lift. The water penetration is so minor that the scotch tape lifts off the stuck together particles and underneath is powdery again.

This is a popular technique because it works well. The water helps bond the shadow together and when the dampness evaporates you are left with a longer lasting powder finish that has been allowed to bond with the skin and other powder particles. I've been using this technique for years and have never had any bacteria problems with any of my makeup.

You only want to do this on shadows that are advertised as wet//dry formulas. If you dip a damp brush in the powder and it starts to ball up then it has too high of a silicone content and isn't meant to be mixed with water.Does wetting eye shadow spoil the product?
u could just put it on and then wet the brush and add the wetness after to get the wet look. thats what i read on the cover girl site
just try putting the make up on you hand or some place clean and then wet the brush and take the eye shaddow off your hand
i don't think it's that bad, because some proffessionals use it like that, so, i guess it can't be that bad, but i use a pencil anyways..

Can wearing eye make-up (eye liner, eye shadow, etc) can you get pimples on your eyelid area from it?

I don't know about a pimple, but you can definitely get a Stye or Pink Eye, which is even worse. Can wearing eye make-up (eye liner, eye shadow, etc) can you get pimples on your eyelid area from it?
Yes you can, so wash very carefully when taking it off to get it all.Can wearing eye make-up (eye liner, eye shadow, etc) can you get pimples on your eyelid area from it?
    Yes.

Use makeup that doesn't clog pores?
sometimes make-up can make you break out. so yes
I have been wearing eyeliner and eye shadow since I was 13, and I'm 27 now and never had a pimple on my eyelid, or even that close to it. I started out with the cheap stuff, and sometimes even now I still may buy a 99 cent eyeliner pencil. I don't have any complaints, and I'm a faithful make-up wearer. Back then I sometimes would even sleep with it on, but you have to remember that everyones skin is different, some have oily skin, and some dry, so it depends on the person. Now that I'm older, and have more knowledge about it, I know to wash it off before going to sleep so that I'm not cloging my pores and not contributing to infecting my eyes.
Not if you use good quality products and take the time to remove it before going to bed.

Best kind of eye shadow color for hazel eyes?

Also, i have been using brown eyeliner and it seems to look better then the black eyeliner, but what do you think?Best kind of eye shadow color for hazel eyes?
Hazel eyes look beautiful in shades of golds coppers and warm browns also green and blues are a great way to make the colour of your eyes stand out brown eyeliner is great for day especially if you have a metallic bronze shade you can soften the look by smudging the eyeliner. I suggest jemma cosmetics eyeliner in ';mythology'; also black liner suits everyone and should be a make up case staple!!Best kind of eye shadow color for hazel eyes?
Choose an eyeliner that complements your eye color. Browns and plums compliment brown eyes, taupe and deep green compliment green eyes, sandy taupes and deep browns make blue eyes sparkle and if you have hazel eyes, pick the color you'd like to bring out and buy an eyeliner in the same hue or choose black to bring out all of the colors at once.

    GREEN or HAZEL EYES

    1. Brown, apricot, purple, plum, deep khaki or forest green (because they are in the same greenish family, they brighten green eyes)

    2. Funky Favorites: gold, glowing, lime-green, really light green, bright purple (super modern)
it all depends on what color you want to bring out. you can try a sheer green to bring out the green in your eyes. Or a light brown might be nice too. silver looks nice with any color eyes. brown eyeliner would look nice, im sure :)
Brown eyeliner is a good choice; if you want to bring out more of the green in your eyes, use an eggplant or wine color eyeliner.

I would use eye shadows in the brown family.
i believe a brown eyeliner would best fit your hazel eyes...because it compliments to the color of your eyes and it does create a more natural and subtle effect..
brown usually does look better. it makes your eyes pop a little more. I like using a light purple eyeshadow to do the same thing.
greens and purples look berry nice with hazel eyes.
    skin/ earth tones look good

not sure since u want a smoky look, try a pinkish purple, although i think blending pink and gold would be prettyIm wearing a light pink dress with gold silk under the pink. what color eye shadow should i wear?
pink if ur a girl. blue if ur a boy.
A silvery white base form an arch with a medium blue or grey then above the eye a navy blue blend in then outline the eye with a navy blue kohl pencil and lashings of mascara

Take a light brown and apply, then layer a lovely tan.
Sounds like a pretty dress! I would do this: Wash MAC Expensive Pink from the eyelid crease to the lashline. Blend MAC Mulch into the outer corner, just enough to give some depth. Use MAC Black Tied with an angle brush to press into the lashline, like a liner. Use a black pencil liner and two coats of black mascara to finish.
I would not recommend a very smokey eye with this.Try some light gold shimmer eyeshadow from lashline to brow, then lightly line your eyes with liner and put a little white just under the brow- it will give the eyes a little pop. Make sure the gold is light though and not dark and don't forget lots of mascara !
    do both!!!

apply gold in the middle and pink on the outside of the crease.

do something radiant and possibly go for a stunning gold or a deep fuschia.

If you want smokey add a charcoal colour to it as well, if you are having trouble achieving this on your own go to MAC tell them what colours you want to use and ask them for their suggestions, I think they do these make overs for free.
    an old gold
i would say light blue to make you look a total beauty full
    try metallic silver,pink or blue
light blue or pink or green anything nuetral and natrual!!
well...... i think u should blend a few colors to gether. first you should put a brownish eyeshadow on but make it light. then put a pink/purple (make it light but not to light make it visible) then take the pinkish puple and put it really light from the top of your eye lid to your eyebrow. it will look really good. then probably some purle eye liner or black the u should put some of the pinkish purple eyeshdow under your eye (just a little bit!) the smear it around and make it shimmery. if you need tips for your lips to you should use some shine you might want 2 put a little bit of red lipstick and then some shine! maybe some blush.
A nice gold eye shadow would look really nice.

-Try Ulta Eye Shadow in 'Gold Leaf' for that extra sparkle for this event. Apply it all across the eyelid for results to make your eyes glamourous. For more colors and prices, go to ulta.com or your nearest ULTA Cosmetics store.

-For more shimmer, use a gold pencil to line your bottom lash lines, inner corners and the inner third of your top lash lines. Try Pout Metallic Eyes Pencil in Gold at sephora.com for $18. This will give you 'ribbons of gold' on your eyes.

    Good Luck!
    gold%26amp;bronze

    I get M.A.C eye shadow.

    The color: Light pink

Which brand of eye shadow do you like?

What stays on the longest and has the best color? I like pinks and purples. Please dont give me any expensive brands!! Walmart stuff onlyWhich brand of eye shadow do you like?
covergirl has a rly pretty purlple called violet and its only 3 50. they have pinks too but my fave pink is by the company jane they have it at most drugstores for around 3-4 dollars its called prom queenWhich brand of eye shadow do you like?
Cover Girl %26amp; MAC Report Abuse

Revlon then Iman. If you can afford these shadows you can try MAC. The shadows are only $13.50. They last forever and the color selection is awesome. Unless you wash these off or do some serious rubbing it is not coming off.
I love MAC -- But you said NO EXPENSIVE STUFF (which isn't that expensive anyway). But when I buy wall-mart it is MAX, covergirl, or Loreal (sp?).
Forget the eyeshadow....use a primer. Is about $12 and you can use it with any eyeshadow. It makes the eyeshadow color stands out and last longer. You just put it on as a base then apply the eyeshadow. I don't apply eyeshadow without it, especially light colors like pinks and blues
I like MAC also but it is expensive but cover girl, maybellene, and lorelle are some great substitutes shadows when you can't afford MAC. Also the quality is good it stays on all day, also I love Lorelle lipsticks they have great quality colors.
I LOVE Covergirl! That's the only makeup I wear.
At christmas, I get a set of makeup and the shadows stay on all day, but here's the trick. Apply your foundation a little heavily on your eyelids, then before it dries completely put on the shadow. It doesn't matter what kind of shadow, it will stay all day....or mine does. And I still have to use makeup remover to get it off. The foundation I use is Revlon Color Stay. It works great for me.
black, purple, blue, purple, pink, and all the colors, orange.
I LOVE Max Factor. u can probobly get it at Walmart, but I know that they have it at Osco. The colors r amazing, much better than Mac. They hove tons of the pink and purple pallets. Don't try Mac, they r expensive, and just take your money, for products that aren't that much better than drugstore, and certainly aren't better than Max. Try Preneire Pink, Compass Rose, and Vintage Vixen.

Bare Escentuals ';Meet the Browns'; or ';Meet the Nuts';. They are sets of three coordinated shadows, a light shade, a medium shade, and a dark shade which can be used in the crease and as an eyeliner, wet or dry. You can find them on QVC. I have blue eyes and I have ';Meet the Browns';. Perfect for blue eyes.
Shades of bronze work beautifully, especially pared with a navy blue eyeliner!
I have blue eyes too and I wear these colors: pink, blue, purple, silver, white and green oh and grayish black. Pretty much with blue eyes you have a wide range of olors to go with. It also depends on the color lipstick your going to wear. If I wear a bright eyeshawdow I do a light lipstick or a gloss. If the eye shadow is light such as silver or white, I do a more dramatic lipstick color.
You want to compliment your eyes, NEVER WEAR BLUE EYESHADOW!

Wear these colors: brown, cream, light pink, purple, light green..

    Hope this helps.

do a smokey eye, with some silver.

Or, you could always try a warm pink, with a black or brown added to it as well. Certain shades of purple, green, turquoise and blue also look very flattering.
