What's the best to wear black eye shadow?

I like wearing black eyeshadow but whenever I wear it it tends to wear off by between 1 and 2:00 (i go to school so i don't have time to re aplly) and it also looks kind of dull

put foundation on your eyelids before you apply it. it will make the shadow last longer. also try really hard not to rub your eyes because it will wipe off
Use Lancome or Mac i had the same problem and i switched and it stays on all day :)
do a smokey eye.
use an eye primer...my favorite is from MAC...many other cosmetic brands make primers too
