EYE SHADOW HELP!!!! How would I wear a dark turquoise eye shawdow tastefully and not trashy????

I bought Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara and got a free eye shadow with it... its one of those new deep bright colors..high pigment or something.

I got the dark teal/turquoise... I dont know if I'll even use it... to me blue eye shadow is trashy unless you apply it in the right way..

How would I wear it??????????

I have dark ';denim'; colored eyes... blonde hair.. fair skin..EYE SHADOW HELP!!!! How would I wear a dark turquoise eye shawdow tastefully and not trashy????
I have that shade, as well as the lime green one, and the trick to those is less is more.

Stick to applying it on just the lids only, and you only need a light application if you just want to go for a simple, colorful wash. If you want to deepen the color, apply a second coat.

What I do is once I apply it on my eyelids, I use a light brown shadow in my crease to take the edge off of the bright color and make it look more neutral, then blend it well.EYE SHADOW HELP!!!! How would I wear a dark turquoise eye shawdow tastefully and not trashy????
well, because you have fair skin...it's harder to accomplish than if you had a tan complexion...so what you should do first is get white and denim/indigo blue eyeshadow. next you need to (use the makeup sparingly-as not to put too much on) put on a coat of the denim/indigo blue eyeshadow...then put a coat of the turquoise over it (stopping the turquoise layer in the middle of your lid) and then put a small section of white layer (coming from the inner corner of your eye) this is to make a not-trashy, fading look :)

ps.sorry if this is confusing! (here's an example)

denim/indigo blue%26gt; first coat

turquoise %26gt; second coat

white %26gt; third coat
A great way to try it out without making it look too ';overdone'; is by using it like an eye liner. I prefer to start lining my eyes with a black eyeliner very close to the edge and then go over it with the teal shadow. Hope this helps!
use it on the ';v'; part of the eye---right up next to the lash line on half of the bottom and right next to the lash line on the top...in a ';v'; pattern...lightly is better then smooth it to blend in.
You could try wearing a nude shadow on your lid and just line your bottom lash line with the dark turquoise shadow. Then apply a coat of Lash Blast on your top and bottom lashes. Totally cute!! Good luck!
Put a base color on first llike taupe or grey then put the darker shadow as a v from the corner of eye to 2\3 of middle eye. Not too much

...I just bought that mascara and love it
wow that color sounds hot! lol ok wet the applicator slightly dip into eyeshadw and smudge a smooth line across top of lids flickin out at end... then add sme pink lip gloss to ur lips and ur ready 2 go! :)
first put on a white or a gray

MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT SPARKLY!!!

and it can be trashy so put a little bit of the turquoise on then smear it over your lid to take all excess off!!!

hope that helps
put it on the edge of eye near ur eye lashes but dont put to much on ur brush when ur done it will look hawt
dark blue eye

shaddow is not

trashy it all ddependds what

your wearinqq with it. apply it like

normal
Hi there

I Why not try this:

Apply a neutral colour eyeshadow to the full eye area or even a pearly white

apply up to the brow but make sure he eyeshadow is more prominent on the actual lids and lighter towards the brow

You will then need a brush similar to this one

Dab it in the eyeshadow and blow so excess does not end up under your eye

Apply this to the creases in your eyes but just the outer area rather than arond the whole eye as this will most probably look really silly, blend it in in circular motions but dont over do it, you dont want to much colour just a hint

Hope this helps xxx
