I want to start wearing eye shadow, but I don't know what to get.?

I want a suttle colour that I can wear to school, but I want something that doesn't damage my skin and that I can't feel...I want to start wearing eye shadow, but I don't know what to get.?
It will help to know your eye color :-) Blues look really nice with peach, brown, orange (not bright, but terra cotta) and brnoze shades. Brown really pops with eggplant or lavender or pink. A lot of these can be found in hues that are appropriate for school, too :-) And if nothing else, I think every eye color looks great with a peachy brown with a subtle shimmer to it.

Have a blast experimenting, makeup can be fun!!I want to start wearing eye shadow, but I don't know what to get.?
i really think that it really is diffrent ofr every 1 like i love certain kinds of make up and my sisters liek there certain kind so we cant share make up cuz we all like diffrent kind and brand so umm my advice to you is just expirament btw the only 1 all of us like sis loreal so maybe that 1 you can try
I agree..Lorelle or Revlon...do experiment and try on colors.

Take a cue from the colors you wear and look good in. Most people can wear the subtle peach or beigey, and light browns.

They higlight your natural eyes. You can try on at dept stores.

Do not share eye makeup or any other...you can get infections, especially in the eye.

Discard lash makeup after months.Micro organisms breed.

Also cause skin flare ups. Those lil breeding organisms.Be very clean with your face.

Go for sheer subtle colors. Darker on your lid and lighter behind. Or one peachy color. If you look good in that.It is most skin tone for light skins.

The cheap boxes are ok for trying colors, but don't wear well.

Pay attention to the adds and displays...color of hair..color of skin...etc.

What kind is individual preference. ........................................鈥?br>

There are warm or cool colors.

pinks are cool...blues.....

orange is warm...browns....

light tans and peach is kinda neutral....
The cosmotology Clinique counter at Belk has exactly what you need. A consultant would be glad to help you out and you don't have to buy if you don't like her advice.
Eye shadow doesn't damage your skin and you don't feel it when you wear it lol. If you want something suttle then get a shimmery tan color.
Get some natural hues or something that will match your eyes.

Search through some different brands of eyeshadow at your local drugstore or at Wallmart. Or if you know some one that sells Avon, that's good too.
I depends how much you are going to spend. If you are just first trying out eyeshadow, you probably shouldn't splurge on really expensive stuff. Try using brands like Rimmel in natural but shimmer shades.
Brown is always neutral and not that obvious.
depends on what you look like. i would suggest some neutral colors. white-bronze-brown. those colors go good on pretty much every eye color.
pick a color that makes your eye color stand out but is close your skin color so it's subtle. i have blue eyes so i use brown/copper eyeshadow. I get compliments all the time. I don't know what colors brown eyed girls where, but check almay...makeup brand at walmart...they have little kits for each eye color.
honey eyeshadow wont damage your skin. if you want a pretty subtle shade u can go with any brand , but a lose powder will get the job done better than a tighly potted one , also if your looking for top of the line color buy Mac pigments , they are 20 dollars but so worth the money

hope i helped
