I've always been told that no matter what your eye color is, go for something opposite of that. Nude is nice if you want to do neutral, but it sounds like you dont. Personally I like purples best. I also think that a navy, grey, or green are good too. Grey is a great one that will go with anything. Try it with a navy eyeliner...it should make your eyes really pop!

Your skin color matters a lot. Because your skin is fair, I'd avoid the golds and bronzes. These are better suited for someone with beige, olive or dark skin.





Since your eyes are so dark, avoid pastels. Try purples and plums if you have a cool or neutral undertone to your complexion. Certain shades of blue or gray might work too. If your skin is warmer (golden undertones), try greens and browns.
If your skin is fair, I don't think that gold and bronze are the best solutions (they are good for persons with a little darker skin). Try with some lighter nuances of green or just use some nude colours. The best choice when putting make up on your eyes are certainly black crayon and mascara.

i would suggest buying a large eyeshadow kit,such as the color workshop's classic colors kit.try on different colors and see which looks best!
I have dark brown eyes too! The BEST eye shadow colors for dark brown eyes are: purple, green and light pink. (I'm speaking from experience)





TIPS: If you can, try putting a darker shade on the outside of your lid and light shade closer to the inside (near the bridge of your nose). Also, if you put a cream shadow on first (as a base) then apply a shadow over it, you're color will last ALL DAY.





If you get a dark purple eyeliner, that looks really great too.

i have brown eyes and i use emerald green i get alot of complements i wouldnt use brown that blends in with your eye colour.

I have brown eyes and i wear either a light bown on top and a darker brown on the bottom part of my eyelid. They also say that purpe eyeliner is great to.
Use nice warm shades of brown. I rarely use eye shadow, but when I do, those are the colors I use frequently. Also, light pinks would look nice too. I'm in the same boat as you are with the dark eyes/pale skin. The best bet is just to stay natural.
I find that a nice, light shimmery eyeshadow brings out the highlights in my eyes(which are also dark brown). Put some of the same eyeshadow around the inner corner of your eyes and a little underneath them. That will really brighten them!
