How do u take eye shadow off makeup brushes without ruining makeup brush?

exactly what i saidHow do u take eye shadow off makeup brushes without ruining makeup brush?
For daily cleaning, I run my finger over the tips of the bristles and blow on them when I want to reuse my brush.

For deep cleaning, I'm not really fond of shelling out that much money for brush cleaners. I buy the Johnson's Baby Wash (the one that comes in a yellow bottle--it's cheap and it's gentle enough for babies), lather it up in my palm and rub the brushes on my palm. Then flush with warm water. Lay flat to dry on a piece of tissue paper or a towel. How do u take eye shadow off makeup brushes without ruining makeup brush?
Brush cleanser specifically for make-up brushes

In a pinch , use eye make-up remover ( like Neutrogena eye make up remover ) until all colour is removed. Swipe with a dry tissue.

Then wash the oily brush, ( if it is still oily , ) with a gentle baby shampoo. rinse the shampoo off with water. Squeeze gently the excess water and let it air dry on a dry kitchen towel.

Use it again when it is completely dry .
ok. It is VERY important you try to keep the part where the bristles meet the brush handle dry-as dry. Glue, mold, those are a few of the things you'll have to worry about otherwise.

now, use eye makeup remover or baby shampoo. OR you can make cleaner (youtube it, lots of tutorials!) or just buy one. I dont like the smell of the sephora one but it's $6. Clinique has one that has no scent that works really well. For a quick cleanse everyday just spray onto a towel or firm napkin and then brush the brush on there until you no longer see makeup coming off. For a deep cleanse (once a week) get the brush wet, then massage some soap in there and start rinsing it out. lay flat to dry. always lay them flat to dry so that water doesn't go to the base and possibly grow mold.
Always have a makeup towelette (not sure what its really called, it's just like a makeup remover cloth) or a face towel with you and gently rub it onto the wet makeup towelette or dry towel. Or you can just put a dab of makeup remover or brush cleanser on the brush and rinse or wipe it off.
for quick cleaning, MAC has a great brush cleaner. pretty expensive though.

for deep cleaning:

run your brushes under the sink until they are wet

pour some baby shampoo into your hand (half a pea sized for eye brushes, maybe less)

swirl the wet brush around in the shampoo, make sure you really work the shampoo into the brush

rinse off-

it will NOT damage your brush.. it actually usually makes them softer and they will definitely shed less.
quick fix- by bare escentuals, is one of my favorites!! almost every makeup line has something like this, you spray it on a tissue, and rub your brushes through until all the color is left on the tissue. They also make brush shampoo, bare escentuals has one as well! good luck!
brush cleaner, sephora has a good one for 6 bucks. if you have a nice, expensive brush you'll definitely want to get one from sephora because it's higher-end and won't mess up your brush. also, keep in mind if the bristles are synthetic or real hair. if its real, definitely take care, if its a cheap, synthetic brush, you should even be okay with simple water and soap.
You can wash them with a shampoo and then follow up with a conditioner, or you can buy a brush cleaner. I love MACs brush cleaner and it's only $11 for a large bottle of it.

You just put a little bit of the cleaner liquid on a tissue or napkin and gently rub the brushes into the napkin. It works like a make-up remover.

Good luck!
MAC has makeup remover for brushes I think. If you don't want to buy it, just get makeup remover on some cotton pieces and slide your brush back and forth on it like you would with a paint brush. Then rinse it with water and brush it dry back and forth again on a towel or anything.
honestly, one of the best ways is just with gentle shampoo or a mild/gentle soap. brush cleaner gets expensive if your a makeup lover and you use ur brushes frequently. its really unnecessary unless you don't know how to clean your brushes well. the metal part, don't put n e brush above that mark (where the handle and the metal connect) in n e water or n e soap. that will end up screwing the glue since the metal part is glued onto the handle and will slowly detach...swish the brush around in your hands in a back and forth motion while the bristles are nice and soapy. wash and repeat until the soap on your hand seems pretty white and clear... swish in some water with out touching the bottom of what ever is holding that water lol. reform the bristles in what ever shape and direction they were originally. swirling the bristles on a surface is not recommended as that can tear them out. if your a bit lazier, try using a cleaner for your first few times, until that bottle is gone...that way you get the hang of how to handle the brushes you have. if you are going to clean the handles, just use a slightly damp cloth so that no water really can get into that lil area.
That's what Brush Cleaners are for, you can pick up an inexpensive bottle from from Sephora or MAC. If you'd rather save some money, add a couple drops of your facial cleanser in a small glass and fill it half way with some some warm water. swish the brush around in the water and the rinse the brush and let dry on a flat surface.
You can buy a brush cleaner. Or you can wash it in luke warm water with soap and let it air dry.

And if it is some really hard stuff you should watch this video.
