Best way to put on eye shadow?

I need 'some' help. Haha, a lot of help. I just need step by step insturctions of what you peoples do to put on your eye shadow. That is if you wear eyes shadow... Thanks!!Best way to put on eye shadow?
If you want it dark, 1. then really load the brush (idk why it's called a brush.. its more of a swab) up with the color. Make sure it doesn't have loose powder on it though because it will get everywhere. If you want it light and just whisped (idk if thats a word but it definately describes that well hah!) on your eyelid, the just put a little bit on there.

2. Get up close to the mirror, Raise your eyebrows as high as you can and close one eye.

3. When I apply eyeshadow, I go from the inside (closest to the nose) outward. Start from the absolute corner of your eye, but dont get any in your eye!

4. Press down gently, and slide the brush along the bottom of your eyelid (right above your lashes).

5. OPEN!!!

6. See where it looks naked, and fill it parts.

7. RULE::: do not put eyeshadow PAST your eyesocket bone... it looks very trashy! unless its very very light shadow and i mean VERY light (white, way light pink, offwhite, silver, glitter)

8. repeat steps 2-7 for your other eye.

9. OPEN!!!

10. Check it out, make sure both sides are equal at how high up the shadow goes, how far out it goes on both sides, and make sure it isn't darker or lighter on one side than the other.

That's all there is to it! It's not hard.. after you'v done it a few times, you learn what looks good and what doesn't.

To brighten your eyes up, try mascara or eye liner!

If you need anything else, let me know. I love makeup.

get 3 colors, one thats shimmery and light, one that's a little darker, and one that's a little darker than the last one. Put the meduim color over your lids only. With the darkest color, brush on right in the crease without leaving chunky marks, and use the lightest color from the crease to the eyebrow, and a little bit under the eye and in the crease...

Or...

Get a charcoal color, silver, and a medium shade of any color you want. Put the silver color all over from the eyelid to the eyebrow, then put the charcoal color real dark just on the eyelid, then use the other color you've chosen with a brush, just brush on the crease and blend it real good with the edge of the charcoal color. Finish with black eyeliner right along your eyelashes, and some black mascara...only wear it this way at night.
start with dark by the lash and as you work your way up get lighter. Smudge a black color into the lash to give the illusian of thicker eyelashes.

First, I use a sparkly golden color on my lash line to highlight my eyes. Then I use a light color on my brow line and fill in the lid with a darker shade of the brow line color. So, like gold, then beige, then cream. ( I have blue-grey eyes, if you do too, pink also complements nice) If your eyes are brown, use green or blue tones, but don't go crazy with neons or anything! =]
get an eyeshadow brush and put it on.
just...dont put it on
well put it on in a lite shade or gentlythen as put on darker shades or add more as you get to the bottom. Masscara and eyeliner will make ur eyes pop too! (in a good way)
I first put on a really light color, all over my eye lid, all th way up to my eyebrow... Than I put on a little pit of a darker color, and put it just on my eye lid. THAN I get an even darker color and put it either, just on the top of my eyelashes, or in the corners of my eye. Sometimes eyeliner, and mascara. lol pretty simple.
I like to use the eye shadow that's kind of like a gel,and comes in a tube. Squirt a tiny bit onto your finger, and smear it all over your eyelid. I like to use this kind, because it stays on all day, and it's easy to use. I'm pretty sure Estee Lauder makes it. I have some of it, and it's great.... It also comes in a bunch of great colors!!
I prefer natural colors browns, creams, topes. Cover your whole eyelid up to your brow with a light color like a very light brown. Put a dark brown or the dark color you prefer on the middle of your lid where the crease is only. Highlight right underneath of you brow with a light cream color. Apply eyeliner (not thick very slim line) its actually in style to start from the inside corner of your eye and get thicker as you move outward. Curl your eyelashes before applying mascara. and i saw on the tyra show you can put white eyeliner on the bottom to look awake and healthy. that works good
Not too much and not too little. Make sure you get professional makeup brushes. The magic is all in the brushes.
on your eye! just kidding- you want to start with a light highlighter right under your brow- then do the lid in a medium shade and put dark in the crack above your lid to make it look deeper and bring out the eye. slightly blend it all together. to really make the shadow ';stick'; I apply lotion first and wipe it off
i kind of need to know how old u r. it makes quite a difference. akay. first step. clean face thouroughly. and dry

next take out a smaller brush. get i light color like whots, or light pink or blue. brush completely across your eyelid. everywhere! remember lightly. THEN u get a darker color, and put it on the very bottom by where ur eyliner will go. if u have large eyelidsu can put a medium color in the middle but if not leave it. . now using ur finger slightly mix the 2 or 3 colors at the edge, so it won't look weird. tada! it's beautiful.

before uu start pick a color that looks good on you is it is pinks, and purples thAN DO THIS.... when u cover ur eyelid use a light pink. at the bottom us a purle, and in the middle use a normal pink.

blues; light blue or whit across eyelid, blue on the bottom

Greys: light light grey acrosss eyelid, soft black in the bottom

i personally use pinks. have fun. and good luck . hope i helped.

oh make sure both sides aare equal. and when u apply eyeshadow either close one eye or look down. make sure u fill in empty spots.and sweep from eye to ear motion. if u have small eyelids fill it up. if they are bigger dont fill them up completely

oh sry i just got ur extra details. brown is also extreamly pretty. use a light brown to sweep across ur eylid. next et a normal/dark brown to go at the bottom. this brings out ur eyes. mix very slightly together..... and tada!!!!!
You have to use a good eye shadow brush and not the cheapie ones that come with most eye shadows. Invest in a decent angled eye shadow brush - use it to put the color on at your eye lashes and blend up and out. Then use an eye crease brush to add a second color in the middle of your eye. Or use your fingers to apply and blend. But I recommend using a good brush!
Open the applicator. Dip in mascara. Pull out of tube. Hold to eye lashes and apply mascara with a like blinking motion. apply to all lashes.
Starting at your lash line, apply your Base Color first, then apply your crease color in the crease area.

Apply your Highlight Color in the highlight color area, below the brow bone.

Finally, blend the colors with a cotton ball or your fingertip to remove any obvious line.

If the colors are too bright tone them down with a little Translucent Powder then apply your Mascara, and dust your entire face downward with Translucent Powder
well i have blu eyes and it says i should wear blu eyeshadow but i wear golds and browns.

Take the 2 med colors and blend

Use the lightest color on the brow bone

use the darkest color to line the eyes
